GEAC is proud to offer four scholarship opportunities for professionals who work at campuses with limited resources the opportunity to attend our annual conference on scholarship. Applications for the 2026 conference are open through August 21.

Frank Hook GEAC Scholarship

Established in 2015 to provide two scholarships for first time attendees or new advancement professionals within the field of higher education advancement at a technical, public, or private college and university. The scholarship honors long-term board member Frank Hook.

  • Scholarship eligibility: First time attendees of the GEAC conference AND new advancement professionals with less than 2 years of experience within the field of higher education advancement at a technical, public, and private college and university

  • Scholarship award provides: Annual conference registration fee

University System of Georgia Foundation Scholarship

Established in 2019 to provide four advancement professionals within the University System of Georgia the opportunity to attend GEAC on scholarship.

  • Scholarship eligibility: Advancement professionals within the field of higher education advancement at a USG public college and university

  • Scholarship award provides: Annual conference registration fee

Technical College System of Georgia Foundation Scholarship

Established in 2021 to provide four advancement professionals within the Technical College System of Georgia the opportunity to attend GEAC on scholarship

  • Scholarship eligibility: Advancement professionals within the field of higher education advancement at a TCSG institution

  • Scholarship award provides: Annual conference registration fee

Private Institution Scholarship

Established in 2026 to provide two advancement professionals from a private Georgia higher education institution the opportunity to attend GEAC on scholarship

  • Scholarship eligibility: Advancement professionals within the field of higher education advancement at a private institution

  • Scholarship award provides: Annual conference registration fee
